Contact Improvisation
SPRING

JAM @Ponderosa
APRIL 21-23

About

The Spring Jam invites dancers with experience in CI to come together to practice Contact Improvisation and to share community living.

We provide a structure for jamming & give a clear frame/input for every Jam. Additionally, we offer a morning practice on Saturday and Sunday and a CI class on Saturday. Our vision is to co-create a space for lots of dancing, questioning, exploring, and playing.

Please note: you need to be able to navigate through a CI jam, if you are not so sure whether the Spring Jam is for you,
please contact the organizers for clarification.

The group size is limited to a maximum of 40 people.

Ponderosa is located at the polish boarder approx. 100 km northeast of Berlin. Our meals include delicious vegan and vegetarian food and we will be dancing in their biggest studio "Kuhstall" (300m2). Various options for sleeping are available.

the nature around the premises is beautiful during springtime. You might even be able to jump into the nearby river if the sun is shining!

The sliding scale

The minimum fee only covers the costs of the location and food. In order to pay the musicians and the organizers for their work, we count on those who can pay more. We tried our best to come up with a pricing policy that is as inclusive as possible, considering that events like this have become much more expensive.
